The Olde Octagons of Indiana was founded on March 23, 1974, by a group of serious MG enthusiasts located in the central Indiana area who felt that local interest was great enough to warrant the formation of a club. The club immediately gained recognition by The New England MG ‘T’ Register, Ltd. (NEMGTR) as a Local Chapter.
The Chapter, known by its members as OOOI, encourages the maintenance, preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of the ‘T’ series and vintage MG. The Chapter welcomes new members and encourages anyone having an interest in the great little cars to join. Current ownership of a 'T or other vintage MG is not required to join. OOOI annual dues are used to maintain regalia supplies and to assist in establishing event activities.
The Olde Octagons of Indiana, established in 1974, is dedicated to the driving and preservation of the T-series MG and earlier marks. Through the years, OOOI has hosted 6 GOF Centrals around the state beginning in 1985 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and most recently in 2023 at Notre Dame University in South Bend. This event takes place each year in a different Midwest state; and, it provides a great opportunity to meet other MG enthusiasts and observe some fine looking MGs!
